You can't have an input on a turntable simply because you can't record to it.
You only have inputs (where information is fed in) on devices that can record,
like tape decks, DATs, minidiscs, and CD-R's.
That's why if you want to DJ you got to have a mixer along with your
turntables cause there is no in-device control.
