Tell him to join a track club. Sure, he'll be the slowest fucker on the team, but atleast he'll be faster by the next basketball season. Maybe by a lot. But aside from that, if he's as big as you're talking about, I doubt many schools will care if he can't run the floor well. All that matters for a guy his size is his inside playing ability and strength.
